Colour is not decoration. It is a way of taking up space, finding connection and making an ordinary day feel considered.

Shekinah Love Textiles Limited is a Uganda-registered textile company built to work across manufacturing, processing, trading, distribution and digital commerce.
For now, our hands are focused on Ankara clothing production: choosing expressive cloth, shaping it into wearable pieces and sharing the confidence that comes when a print feels like it belongs to you.
The wider vision includes textile trade, distribution, digital retail, design, technical training and research. These are registered objectives for the future; today, our hands are focused on Ankara clothing production.
Two ways to wear a storyOur prints arrive with their own rhythm. Our job is to give that rhythm a shape you can live in.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE STUDIO
Doreen is the founder of Shekinah Love Textiles, an author and an artist.
Her creative world brings together cloth, words, images and sound. She is building a textile company that can begin with Ankara clothing and grow into a wider home for making, storytelling and cultural expression.

To make Ankara clothing in Uganda that feels joyful, useful and unmistakably yours — with quality that earns a place in your wardrobe.
Kampala is our starting point: a city of movement, makers and many different ways of putting a look together.

We are starting where our energy is strongest: small-run Ankara clothing made for Kampala and for everyone carrying a little East Africa with them.
We are learning the cut, refining the fit, and making each piece with enough ease for a full day and enough presence for the moment you want to remember.
See the current editOur registered objectives reach beyond today’s collection. We are building toward them with patience and a clear first chapter.
Manufacturing, processing, importing, exporting and distributing textiles, yarns, fabrics and garments.
Digital retail, e-commerce platforms and delivery systems that bring good clothing closer to more people.
Technical partnerships, training and the equipment needed to grow textile expertise in Uganda.
Research, experimentation and support for the next generation of textile ideas and makers.
These are the horizons we are working toward. Our focus today is Ankara clothing production.
We believe a textile story should say where it comes from. Ours starts in Uganda, grows through its people and travels wherever colour is welcome.
We are not only making
clothes. We are making
room to belong.
